The ROC shows up!

Nope--Not the Wrestler! The Richmond Outreach Center brought the ROC in full force. Friday, Sept. 15th the Hanger was packed out. We had teen dance sensation "In 4 Life" and "Rock Steady" show up with their award winning routines. There was even a dance competition for a copy of "In 4 Life's" CD. Some of the Hanger crew got the nerve up to show their moves. It turned out to be an inspirational and entertaining night all around.

You're an OLD GEISER!

Those were the words of Pastor Beith who gave an awesome message straight from the Bible. We learned about how Noah and his family weren't annihilated from the earth because God found them to be righteous in His eyes. So the question is---Are you living a righteous life for the Lord? Do you want to be annihilated?

When God returns He will be coming with a refiner's fire. He will ask us about the past and present and the choices we've made.

Do you know whether you are going to Heaven or Hell?

Golf Tournament at Hobbs Hole a SUCCESS!

Thank you to everyone who sponsored and played in the 2nd Annual Golf Tournament at Hobbs Hole on September 28th. God blessed us with gorgeous weather and great smiles from all of you. Your support will further the work of HIS KINGDOM. We are so blessed!

Who are you going to live for?

We have had a great summer getting to know area students more! There has been lots of dodgeball, basketball (and knock-out!), and pool being played. There has been even more food eaten!

The focus of the summer ended up being---"Who are you going to live for?" We were challenged with this question and asked to consider whether we are going to be pushed by the world to the slaughter house or lead by the Creator of the Universe.

What music are you listening to?
What pictures are on your phone?
What magazines do you have hidden?
Is money going to fill the void in your heart?

We have seen the response too. Thank you for a more respectful attitude. Thank you for walking away from fights. Thank you for treating your friends better. Thank you for thinking about the choices you are making. Not only do we need to decide whether we believe in God and his son Jesus, but we also need to live the part. It's all a part of the package.

If you are looking for hope and peace to take over your life--It's the only way.
